We are delighted to be able to offer scholarships for our bootcamps, to support individuals from disadvantated or diverse backgrounds into a career in coding.

We are commited to the locations we are in and are happy to accept scholarship applications from anyone within our any of our locales.

If applying for a scholarship, we want to make it as easy as possible. The process for a scholarship is as follows.

  • Email [email protected] - with a copy of your CV (if you don’t have one, that’s ok, you can tell us a bit about yourself). You will also need to add, in 100 words or less, why you would like a career in coding.
  • If succesful, you will be invited to an interview with the scholarship team, to progress your application. If unsuccessful, you will be notified in writing with our reasons.
  • Successful applicants may be asked to become student ambassadors or participate in marketing activities.
  • You will be notified in writing with the outcome of your application 14 days before the bootcamp starts, at the very latest.
  • Applications for scholarships close four weeks prior to a bootcamps start date.

Terms and Conditions Scholarships

Applicants must be aged 19 or over.

Applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.

Applicants may apply for as many scholarships as they see fit. After each application your data will be anonymised and a new application will be required for future opportunities.

Applications are handled at least four weeks prior to a bootcamp starting. You can apply at any time however you must apply at least four weeks in advance of the start date of the bootcamp you wish to join.

Scholarships are competitive and selection is based on the information provided. Tech Educators decision in all matters relating to the scholarship is final.

If your scholarship application is successful, we may ask you to become a student ambassador, or to appear in online and / or printed marketing materials for Tech Educators. For example, providing a student profile and a photograph which may be used to promote Tech Educators and Tech Educators’ scholarship schemes and bootcamps. If you do not wish us to use your data in this manner, please notify us by email at [email protected].

If you fail to complete your bootcamp and choose to retake the bootcamp or undertake another eligible bootcamp, any scholarship you were awarded will not be applicable.

If you fail to complete your bootcamp and the scholarship was not applied (i.e. you did not pay the tuition fees, or the tuition fees were reimbursed) then subject to the eligibility criteria, the scholarship may be available should you choose to retake the bootcamp or undertake another eligible bootcamp. You must re-apply for the scholarship.

Tech Educators may close scholarship applications to bootcamps at any time where that bootcamps is full and closed to new applications.
