We are focused on supporting the next generation of tech talent into the knowledge workplace. You will develop transferrable mindsets and systems, which will help you utilise a powerful range of project management and digital operation tools to succeed in todays rapidly evolving space.
From building customisable AI agents to practising engaging presentation skills, from demystifying spreadsheets to wrangling data for visualisation; you'll become an indispensable asset.
Through the course you will use these tools and more in a collaborative, hands-on group setting. Over the 10 weeks you will build useful workplace-related projects, work in teams and learn the skills you need to perform in the digital world and innovate in your next role.
What we will cover
The bootcamp is split into the following modules:
- 01
Tools to Get You Started
Humans evolved by using tools and the digital landscape is no different. You’ll form together your personal toolkit to work towards mastery in your digital world. Your kit will adapt and evolve over time as will your approach to using these tools, supporting you on your journey through this course and beyond into your future roles. The backbone of our current toolkit starts with Notion, Figma and Canva.
- 02
Project Management & Presentations
Ideas don’t turn themselves into fully-fledged projects! You’ll learn how to be the driver of the processes which give them life. We’ll cover the many components of effective project management as well as handling tasks with Kanban boards. However, it doesn’t matter how great your project is if you can’t get peoples attention with it, so we’ll sharpen our presentation skills throughout the whole course too.
- 03
AI Elements
We will welcome you to the world of AI, one step at a time. From researching the different types and models, to building your own agent with Gemini Gems and understanding what you should and shouldn't put into it; we'll teach you the ropes and how to stay safe.
- 04
Data and Data Visualisation
We’ll level up with a 2 week foray into Data, SQL, Databases and Visualisations, giving you the skills to connect to raw data and turn it into powerful insights and show-stopping visualisations. When finished, you’ll be able to use data to empower better decision-making and craft impactful stories.
- 05
Project Work & Career Support
Each week, you'll have the chance to put everything you've learned into practice, along with the opportunity to develop those all-important skills for working in teams. We'll cover important career skills and have time to work on our career goals.

Digital Innovator Bootcamp Frequently Asked Questions
Funded places are available through government and combined-authority Skills Bootcamps; otherwise it’s £5,000, with payment plans and scholarships. Funded cohorts currently run in Leicester & Leicestershire, Hull & East Yorkshire, Slough & Berkshire, Norwich & Norfolk and Ipswich & Suffolk, plus online; check your eligibility on our booking page.
You just need to be comfortable with everyday computer use; there’s no coding requirement and no prior experience needed. The course builds your digital toolkit from the ground up, so you go from the basics to confidently using project-management, AI and data tools.
It’s a Level 4 course in the practical digital and AI tools the modern workplace runs on. Over 10 weeks (two days a week) you’ll build a toolkit around Notion, Figma and Canva; learn project management, Kanban and presentation skills; build your own AI agent (e.g. with Gemini Gems) and learn to use AI safely; and spend two weeks on data, SQL and data visualisation, finishing with hands-on project work and career support.
Because the workplace gap is huge: 52% of the UK workforce can’t do all 20 of the essential digital tasks for work, around 21 million adults (FutureDotNow/Lloyds Bank), a gap FutureDotNow estimates costs the UK economy over £23bn a year. Fluency in modern digital and AI tools makes you measurably more employable; the UK wage premium for AI skills tripled to 34.2% in 2025 (PwC).
People who want to be more effective and employable in a knowledge-work role. Whether you’re upskilling in your current job, changing careers, or entering the workplace and want the digital and AI tools employers actually use. No technical background required.
It’s a Level 4 mapped qualification, equivalent to the first year of a degree. The course is not accredited; we map KSBs to IFATE standards at an equivalent level and use RARPA to recognise and reward progress and attainment within the course.
It runs 10 weeks, part-time, two days per week, designed so you can keep working the rest of the week. Study online or in person at our Norwich, Leicester and Cambridge campuses (more regions funded), always instructor-led with a cohort.
Book a call from the course page and we’ll cover fit, funding eligibility and upcoming dates, or download the curriculum. In a funded region? Check that location page for current availability.

Notion - I was able to build a new portfolio website for myself. I also built a few different pages as part of my interview process for job applications - which was very effective. Figma and Canva which I use all the time in my daily life now. Overall the course was hugely beneficial to me and I am very grateful I was able to do it. Thank you.
