Tech Educators to offer fully funded bootcamp spaces to LCRCA Residents
Written by James Adams
We are delighted to be working with the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority to offer instructor led, intensive, coding bootcamps, designed to support individuals into a career in tech.
What type of coding bootcamp is available?
Eligible learners are able to receive our full stack coding boot camp, which usually costs £5,500, completely free, due to funding secured by the LCRCA. That means you can qualify for a free coding bootcamp in Liverpool and Merseyside. You will spend 9 whole weeks working alongside our dedicated instructors and teaching assistants, who will guide you through the MERN stack (that's MongoDB, Express, React and Node.JS) as well as supporting with your CV and preparing you for a job in tech.
These spaces will be available on our Full Time, Daytime, January coding bootcamp, which begins on January 16th.
How can I apply?
We are offering free spaces on our 101 - Introduction to Coding Bootcamp sessions, which will support you in understanding if a career in technology is for you. After this session, if a career in technology is the path you wish to take, eligible learners will be able to work alongside our admissions team to complete the relevant paperwork and get signed up to start the course in the new year.
What is the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority?
The following is taken from the LCRCA wesbite.
At the Combined Authority, our aim is to ensure that everyone benefits from the decisions we make. We want to create an environment which allows our economy to thrive for the good of everyone who lives and works in Liverpool City Region.
We work together to make investments in areas that have a real impact on our communities, such as transport, employment, culture, digital and housing. By using the devolved powers we have, we can make a real and meaningful difference to the lives of the people living and working in the area.
The Combined Authority is led by Metro Mayor Steve Rotheram and brings together Liverpool City Region’s six local authorities – Halton, Knowsley, Liverpool, Sefton, St Helens and Wirral – to tackle the big issues that matter to us all, together.
