Digital Marketing with AI Frequently Asked Questions
No; no prior digital-marketing or AI experience is needed. The course starts with digital-marketing fundamentals and introduces AI step by step, so beginners and career changers are welcome. It’s built for practical business use, not exam prep.
Funded places are available through government and combined-authority Skills Bootcamps; otherwise it’s £5,000, with payment plans and scholarships. Funded cohorts currently run in Hull & East Yorkshire, Slough & Berkshire, Cumbria & Cumberland and Lincoln & Lincolnshire, plus online; check your nearest location page for availability.
Over 13 weeks (one day a week) you’ll cover digital-marketing fundamentals (strategy, brand and personas, email, content, SEO, social and paid media, and measuring outcomes), then how to use AI properly (prompt engineering, ethics and editing AI output), with weekly real-world projects and a one-month capstone project ready to use in a business.
Because AI has already reshaped the profession: 88% of marketers use AI in their day-to-day roles (SurveyMonkey), and the global AI-in-marketing market is projected to grow from around $47B in 2025 to over $107B by 2028 (Statista). Yet most marketers are working it out as they go rather than learning it properly, so those who can use AI well stand out, and the UK wage premium for workers with AI skills tripled to 34.2% in 2025 (PwC).
You don’t need a degree or prior qualifications to start in digital marketing; employers value demonstrable skills and a portfolio far more. This course gives you both: a Level 4 mapped qualification plus real projects and a capstone you can show.
Business owners and marketers who want more from their marketing, career changers moving into digital marketing, and professionals who want to use AI in their marketing properly rather than “just adding a bit of AI”. No experience required.
It runs 13 weeks, part-time, one set day each week (9am–5pm), online or in person at our Norwich, Cambridge and Liverpool campuses, always instructor-led with a cohort. It’s designed to fit around work, and you apply what you learn at work each week.
It’s a Level 4 mapped qualification, equivalent to the first year of a degree. The course is not accredited; we map KSBs to IFATE standards at an equivalent level and use RARPA to recognise and reward progress and attainment within the course. To join, book a call or register your interest from the course page and we’ll cover fit, funding eligibility and upcoming dates.
