HackEd returns to Duke Street Riverside for three days, from Monday 22 to Wednesday 24 February 2027, with headline sponsors Norwich University of the Arts and Aviva.
Teams of students will come together to tackle this year's brief, Tackling Youth Unemployment, supported throughout by a technical mentor and a business mentor from industry.
We provide everything they need to get started, including loan laptops, a Raspberry Pi, training and food, so students just need to bring themselves.

HackEd started here. Duke Street Riverside hosted our very first event in 2025, welcomed us back in 2026, and in February 2027 we'll return for our third HackEd at the venue.
Part of Norwich University of the Arts, Duke Street Riverside is a vibrant riverside space designed to spark collaboration and innovation, making it a natural home for HackEd and three days of Create, Code and Collaborate.
Finding that first opportunity can be one of the hardest parts of starting a working life, and it's a challenge facing young people across Norfolk and the UK. This year, HackEd is putting that challenge at the heart of the event.
Teams will build working solutions designed to open up work, skills and opportunity for young people, before presenting their ideas to our judges.
And they won't be doing it alone. Every team works alongside technical and business mentors from industry, giving students the chance to learn from people already working in tech and build connections that could last beyond HackEd.
