Develop a business strength of understanding.
Leadership and Management: Digital Transformation
Over 10 weeks, with one day a week commitment, we will explore the future of Digital Transformation, through ML and AI, and how to embed this effectively into your organisation as a leader. This course includes an immersive leadership retreat.
Explore the potential of AI and understand how to implement the opportunities of tomorrow into your business today.
We want to enable all leaders, regardless of starting point, to drive AI adoption within their business ethically and with a robust AI policy.
Students will explore what Machine Learning and AI really means in a modern context, exploring innovation and adoption frameworks, alongside the art of the possible in adopting these technologies in your business. Working alongside other leaders, you will discover what can be achieved in your business and how to implement it.
At Tech Educators we use our “spiral stacked” learning structure (it’s literally in our logo, look again) which builds depth and complexity whilst regularly revisiting concepts, this allows our students to build on prior knowledge and allowing repetition alongside new knowledge.

No. It’s designed for leaders and managers from any background, no coding and no prior AI knowledge. You’ll start with what machine learning and AI actually are, then focus on how to lead their adoption. If you can run a team or a function, you have the foundation you need.
It’s a Level 5 leadership programme about driving digital and AI change in your organisation. Over 10 weeks (one day a week, plus an immersive leadership retreat) you’ll cover the essentials of machine learning and large language models, the human role in AI, the models of innovation and transformation, and how to work effectively with AI, leaving able to embed AI adoption ethically and with a robust AI policy.
Because most change efforts, and most managers, are underprepared: around 70% of digital transformations fall short of their objectives (BCG/McKinsey), and 82% of UK managers became managers without any formal management or leadership training, so-called “accidental managers” (CMI). Structured leadership training closes both gaps, and with the UK wage premium for AI skills tripling to 34.2% in 2025 (PwC), leaders who can direct AI adoption are increasingly valuable.
The course is mapped to a Level 5 qualification (foundation-degree standard), but the course is not accredited; this is due to the frequency we update the course content with AI advancements. We map KSBs to IFATE standards at an equivalent level and utilise RARPA to recognise and reward progress and attainment within the course.
Team leaders, managers and senior staff responsible for how their organisation adopts new technology, including “accidental managers” promoted on merit without formal training, and leaders who need to set a safe, consistent standard for AI use across their people (relevant to EU AI Act Article 4, in force since 2 February 2025).
It runs 10 weeks, part-time, one day per week, online or at a funded regional cohort, and includes an immersive in-person leadership retreat. Sessions are live and instructor-led, so you learn alongside other leaders, not through videos alone.
Book a call and we’ll talk through fit, funding eligibility and upcoming dates, or download the curriculum from the course page. In a funded region? Check that location page for availability.

How to use AI at a much deeper level to gain efficiencies in my business. How to use AI to create a number of different solutions to problems and then delve into a detailed analysis to determine what is the most sensible idea to implement. Also, I now understand how important the many policies and regulations that govern AI are.

I was introduced to various AI and LLM models including Claude which is now my primary workspace. I have created various tools such as a voice note tool for dignified and fast feedback. I have learned how to use Notebook LM and how to pace myself when speaking about what I am doing. I have met and made some friends who I will likely keep in touch with for a very long time. My cohort would say I have learned to stay quieter for longer! I enjoyed learning about the different methods of voting and will be applying dot voting in all our staff meetings moving forward.

During my time on the Skills Bootcamp, I have gained further skills and knowledge in digital marketing, website planning, SEO, audience development, social media strategy, branding, and business positioning. I will use these skills to continue developing Grey Swan as a creative studio working across theatre, photography, digital promotion, PR, and publishing. The course has helped me think more clearly about how to present my services, define my audience, improve my online presence, strengthen my messaging, and build a more sustainable business model.
