Careers week: An open invitation to join us

Written by James Adams

Tech Educators Careers Week

Our mission at Tech Educators is to support the future of diverse Tech Talent as we continue to upskill individuals into a career in tech. We know, however, this is not a mission we can achieve on our own. Our role in the wider ecosystem is to support and nurture the tech talent of tomorrow with education partners and those companies who truly understand their place and role in the wider community. Our careers weeks are focussed around giving our students and the wider ecosystem insight and access to some of the worlds largest companies and their teams, to share their experiences of what a life in tech is really like.

What is careers week?

Careers Week is a week-long series of talks and panels with some of the world's top tech companies. These events are designed to help inspire and enable individuals to pursue a career in the technology sector. Our speakers come from a wide range of backgrounds, representing companies such as Spotify, Netlify, Aviva, RedHat, Newfangled Games, Twilio, Wex and many more.

An open invite to all education partners

We want to invite any education partner from high school and colleges to join us in these talks, they will be delivered remotely, so no matter where you are in the country, your students and the potential future of tech talent can get involved. If you would like to join us, please get in touch with us to be sent details of our talks and how to join.

When is the next Tech Educators careers week?

Careers week is scheduled for 10th July - 14th July. However, we run them every 12 weeks or so, so please get in touch for the next one if this has passed.

Is there a charge?

Absolutely not. We believe we all have a part to play in supporting the future of tech talent, and invite you to join us in making that mission a reality.

Is there an age limit?

No. We do think to get the most out of our talks, that 14+ is a good time to introduce the talks we have for this careers week.
