Tech Educators announce AWS Training Partnership

We are delighted to announce our parternship with cloud based hosting giant, Amazon Web Services (AWS), as a Select Training Partner.

At Tech Educators, we are committed to supporting our students with the skills that will nurture them through their career and there is no doubt that cloud services, such a AWS are playing a huge part in the industry today, that will only continue to grow.

In their own words, AWS describe themselves as the most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud offering.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud offering, with more than 200 fully featured services available from data centers globally. Millions of customers—including the fastest-growing startups, largest enterprises, and leading government agencies—are using AWS to lower costs, increase security, become more agile, and innovate faster.

We also understand that enterprise data is expensive and a huge contributor to the fight we must all undertake in reducing our environmental impact. When reviewing an opportunity of how we can support in this fight, AWS offered a response to hosting clean code with less environmental impact.

Studies by 451 Research have shown that AWS’ infrastructure is 3.6 times more energy efficient than the median of U.S. enterprise data centers surveyed and up to five times more energy efficient than the average in Europe. 451 Research also found that AWS can lower customers’ workload carbon footprints by nearly 80% compared to surveyed enterprise data centers, and up to 96% once AWS is powered with 100% renewable energy — a target we’re on path to meet by 2025.

Speaking on the announcement, Tech Educators CEO, James Adams, was excited by the work being undertaken by the team and the growth opportunities that this partnership will deliver.

"We understood that we needed to offer support in cloud computing as an addition to our existing full-stack coding bootcamp and in-house created blockchain bootcamp. High quality course creation and delivery is at the heart of our business, without delivering great courses, to great students, we don't get to have the impact we want as an organisation. We looked at the market - Amazon was our first choice. We are a young and hungry business, that's having great impact. The team at AWS were fantastic in identifying that and have been extremely supportive in bringing us on board."

When discussing what this means for courses and delivery, James was eager to stress that this announcement is part of a series of announcements that will pave the way for continued expansion in 2023.

"We have been making some announcements recently, and this is part of the roadmap we have for delivery through 2023 and beyond. Over the next week or so, we will continue to update on other movements that prepare us to continue the explosive growth we are seeing. AWS are a gigantic and very supportive partner. We are extremely pleased to make this official. We look forward to outlining exactly what this translates to for our students, past and present, soon."
